Even though King Charles III’s coronation on Saturday, May 6th is over, we’re still thinking about all the chic fashion moments—from Kate Middleton’s elegant white Alexander McQueen gown to Katy Perry’s regal lilac Vivienne Westwood suit. But, there’s one fashion moment that we think isn’t getting enough appreciation. TODAY show anchor Savannah Guthrie dressed up to report on the coronation in a sheer Barbiecore pink lace dress. The 51-year-old proves she’s aging like fine wine in this stunning outfit!

Savannah traveled to London to cover the King’s coronation. The TODAY Show news anchor sat in front of Buckingham Palace and had a front-row seat to all the coronation celebrations. Because of the cold weather, Savannah and the other anchors huddled under blankets as they reported on the event. But, it was the form-fitting Barbiecore pink dress the anchor wore that really stole the show!
Under the blanket, Savannah donned a stunning, dark pink dress that was covered in a layer of lace for a sheer design. The dress featured long sleeves and the lace spread across her chest and down her arms all the way to her wrists. When it came to accessories, the anchor opted for gold mini hoop earrings and the Marlo Laz Spiked Heart gold chain necklace.
She traded her heels for a pair of white sneakers. And, because of some rainy weather, Savannah wore a plaid bucket hat in one photo from her Instagram. As for glam, the 51-year-old had light pink eyeshadow, thick eyelashes, blush, and a hot pink lip and she styled her blonde hair straight.

Savannah captioned her Instagram post for the coronation, “Happy to cover the coronation with the best in the business!” The anchor’s fans expressed their love of the Barbiecore pink dress she wore. “Look at this queen!” one commented, while another wrote, “Love this pink on you!” and, “Love your dress!” A fourth commented, “Your necklace is E V E R Y T H I N G!!!” and another chimed in with, “Savannah it’s a pleasure watching NBC. As usual, you do an amazing job. Thanks for just being you,” with a heart-eyed emoji.
